meet gillian!
Gillian is my gefelted fish. She's actually my first felted project ever. I named her after the nice woman in the library Preservation unit who was nice enough to throw my fishie in her dryer after I finished knitting. Gillian is made of wool Kureyon (the company, Noro, is Japanese, so think "Crayon" with a Japanese accent) and Trendsetter Metal. I wish you could see her lovely seafoam-green eyes. Gillian keeps me excellent company at work.

Photoshop fun!
I tried to take a picture of Zack in this oversize beanie made with Big Wool (Rowan). It was dark, so the picture quality was really bad. But I liked the EGM magazine in the foreground and Zack's face in the back, so I played around a bit with my favorite Photoshop filter.

Oimochan stripe-y* scarf
This mini scarf was based on a Rowan pattern (Huddle, by Kim Hargreaves, from The Next Big Thing) and made using 2 skeins of Noro Oimochan. I wear this scarflet a lot. It's small but very woolly and warm.
*Did you know that stripy is spelled without the e? Yes, it's true, apparently. It bothers me somehow. So, I decided to go for the dashed approach to title-ing.

Sex & the Knitty
Their title, not mine. The summer 2004 issue of Knitty.com is lingerie-themed. The patterns are free, as usual, nicely laid out and printable! Cool beans.
